Automation Testing with GIS

Location: Johnston, RI or Remote

Qualifications

Proficiency with ESRI's ArcGIS Enterprise toolset including Web App builder and ArcGlS Pro

Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated) to ensure our geospatial software solutions align with system requirements.

Use ESRl's ArcGlS Enterprise Portal applications for developing and executing tests.

Create automated tests for ArcGlS solutions.

Document and analyze test results, track, and manage defects, troubleshoot issues, and drive issues to resolution.

Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that software tests address all system requirements.

Actively participate within an agile scrum team to refine and estimate user stories, plan sprints, and contribute to other team ceremonies.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest ESR' technologies and advancements in the field of software testing.

Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities

Demonstrable experience with both manual and automated testing methods

Proficiency with ESRI's ArcGIS Enterprise toolset including Web App builder and ArcGlS Pro

Demonstrable experience with both manual and automated testing methods

Experience with map testing, layer testing, and validation of geoprocessing outputs.

Experience with ArcGlS APIs and SDKs to help with testing, such as the library for Python.

Experience with testing tools and software such as Cypress, Selenium, JMeter, or similar.

Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and personal and SDE geodatabases.

Familiarity with linear referencing systems, data creating and editing,

Experience with Agile/scrum development methodologies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Work Authorization

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $ 90000 - 110000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
