Job Description:
- Provide legal counseling in various areas, including advertising, consumer protection, and regulatory compliance
- Advise business clients on product/services and strategic partnerships
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including technology and licensing agreements

Responsibilities:
- Serve as counsel and directly advise business clients
- Work closely with business development, product, and tech teams
- Structure, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements
- Provide ongoing legal counseling in various areas

Qualifications:
- . degree and active membership in at least one state bar
- 5+ years of experience practicing law
- Prior experience as counsel in the automotive industry
- Sound judgment in ambiguous situations
- Ability to work independently and contribute to cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Compensation:
- Base pay ranges from $123,100/year to $229,000/year, dependent on market location and job-related factors
- Total compensation package may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation
- Full range of medical, financial, and other benefits offered

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing legal counseling in a wide range of areas, such as advertising, consumer protection, and regulatory compliance
- Serve as counsel and directly advise business clients on product/services and strategic partnerships
- Structure, draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including technology and licensing

About the team:
- Newly formed team with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon
- Collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for cars online

Basic Qualifications:
- . degree and active membership in at least one state bar
- 5+ years of experience practicing law
- Prior experience as counsel in the automotive industry

- Sound judgment in ambiguous situations
- Ability to work independently and contribute to cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Team player and consensus builder with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with attorneys and business leaders throughout the organization
- Business acumen combined with the ability to identify optimal solutions to complex issues

Compensation:
- Base pay ranges from $123,100/year to $229,000/year, dependent on market location and job-related factors
