Transportation Management Specialist - #1688602

Our client - an automotive manufacturing company, has an immediate need for a Transportation Management Specialist.  The ideal candidate must have working knowledge with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulation experience. This person will work on projects related to warehouse as well. This person needs to understand the process flow into and out of the warehouse. 

We need US Citizens or Green Card holder candidates, A minimum of three - five (3-5) years' of relevant professional experience in the following area(s):Automotive Body Shop, Paint Shop, or similar manufacturing environment, (getting damaged trailers (or similar) repaired), Need to know the process flow of into and out of the Warehouse, ability to work with and steer transportation topics to the various service providers and process partners. Strong communication skills (verbal and written),  Project management experience (Lead, PM or etc)

The Pay Rate for this position is: $ 38 to 48.50/hr/ Per Hour Plus Overtime (AllTech Systems Inc. has optional healthcare, dental and 401K plans for contract employees! We pay for half of the premiums of our healthcare insurance for our contract employee! **Spouse/children extra)

 Position Type:12+ Month Contract (High Chance of a Renewal or Hire) 

Location:  Greenville Metro Area SC (100% onsite)

The team is responsible for getting damaged trailers repaired that are related to cross-dock operations. Will need to work with service providers on topics related to transportation. This person will be steering transportation topics with various process partners. This person will need to have a flexible schedule. This position has to work every other Saturday (day shift). Nights might also be required but this would be rare occurrence.

During the week, Monday-Friday this position works typical day shift hours 8am-5pm.

Must have: Must have working knowledge with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulation experience.

Understand and know the process flow of into and out of the Warehouse. 

Must have project management experience.

Must have ability to create reports via Excel or PowerBI.

Strong communications skills. (verbal and written) ability to communicate with (senior management, supervisors, tech leads and support personnel)

This position has to work every other Saturday (day shift). Nights might also be required but this would be rare occurrence.

Project experience (Lead, Supervisor, Project Lead, Project Manager, Warehouse Manager) Must understand the ins and outs on how a Warehouse flows close to perfection!
