AECOM is seeking an Transportation Engineering Manager to be based in Meridian, ID.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Regional transportation engineering expert on providing technical leadership and guidance in a specialty, providing strategic planning to increase our profitability within area of expertise.   
  • Keeps informed of new developments and requirements within state infrastructure affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs and applications. 
  • Uses creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented technical problems. Interprets, organizes, executes and coordinates assignments. 
  • Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work. 
  • Develops standards and guidelines for use throughout the company. The knowledge and expertise required for this level of work usually results from progressive experience. 
  • Supervision received is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.


Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS + 10 Years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.
  • US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil/Transportation Engineering
  • 15 years of relevant project PS&E design experience
  • 5 years' DOT experience
  • Professional Engineer in the State of Idaho.
  • Proficient with DOT Design Standards
  • 5 years’ experience with proposal and business development, client presentations and relationship development
  • Demonstrated success in achieving scope, schedule, and budget goals on a large-scale transportation project.


Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation in Idaho will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $110,540.00 - $204,000.00.
