- Works collaboratively with appropriate camp staff on the content of the instructional program and related activities.
- Provide a teaching plan or class outline with handouts, for assigned classes.
- Works closely, cooperatively and amicably with other staff members.
- Stimulates campers' interest in individual and group activities.
- Provides a safe learning environment to motivate youth.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must participate in training workshop prior to the start of camp.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree. Some classroom teaching experience
Skills:
- Experience working with youth ages 616
- Patient, enthusiastic, and dependable
- Able to work with others and follow directions
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to engage in recreational activities, ability to grasp objects, and assist students in minor physical activity.
- 8; or a graduate student working on a degree in a STEM field.
- Experience with youth summer camps.
