The successful candidate will have an active role in the following:

  • Executes the structural engineering tasks assigned or as otherwise directed under general supervision.
  • Performs structural CA tasks assigned by senior engineering staff including submittal review and response to project RFI’s.
  • Assisting in the preparation of construction drawings, contract documents, and structural calculations.
  • Maintains active awareness of the production schedule for responsible task(s).
  • Ability to apply building code provisions and interpret material design standards.
  • Writing technical studies and reports.
  • Participates in team meetings to discuss project issues, coordination with other disciplines and technical issues as well as attending client meetings and discussions. 
  • The candidate will have the opportunity to apply their skills on a variety of projects involving commercial, industrial, public improvements, utilities, and residential.
  • Performs work in a manner that demonstrates an awareness of and an appreciation for the company’s cultural values, including a commitment to quality, innovation, learning and growth.


  • The successful candidate shall possess a B.S. in Structural or Civil Engineering with structural emphasis from an ABET-accredited degree program.
  • Have already passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
  • The candidate must also be committed to eventually becoming a licensed professional engineer (PE).
  • Have 0 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Possess the ability to problem solve and collaborate on innovative solutions with other staff members in a team setting.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Architecture or Revit is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite preferred.
  • Ability to learn structural analytical software (e.g., RISA 3D, EnerCalc).


  • This is a full-time, salaried position.
