Reporting to the Associate Dean for Curriculum the Director of the YSM Office of Curriculum directs and supervises all operations to support the design, development, and implementation of the medical student education programs. This includes leading a team of program managers and administrative personnel, in close collaboration with faculty, to operationalize functions crucial for delivering a high-quality curriculum; devising and executing strategies for procedural improvements; managing budgetary allocations; supervision of both exempt and non-exempt employees, overseeing all aspects including hiring, onboarding, and performance management; ensuring adherence to accreditation standards with active involvement in accreditation-related reporting activities; supervising the overall quality of educational programs and preparing critical reports for both internal and external agencies; oversight of policies and procedures governing the medical school curriculum; serving as lead administrator for the governing committee overseeing the YSM curriculum; project management for special curricular initiatives from inception to completionResponsibilities include: Direct the Office of Curriculum operations supporting the design, development, and implementation of the curriculum across the four years of medical student education. Develop and implement strategies for procedural improvements. Manage the budget and expenses for the Office of Curriculum. Lead a team comprised of program managers and administrative personnel in close collaboration with faculty to operationalize functions crucial for delivering a high-quality curriculum. Supervise adherence to accreditation standards. Contribute to activities related to the accreditation process. Prepare reports and provide critical information about the overall quality of the educational programs to internal and external agencies. Monitor and manage the policies and procedures governing the medical school curriculum, guaranteeing their precision. Contribute to the formulation of new policies as necessary and ensure that existing policies undergo regular review in accordance with University guidelines. Serve as lead administrator for the governing committee for the YSM curriculum. Manage formal and informal communication processes. Manage special curricular initiatives from inception to completion, which requires independent research, and the proposal of resolutions or conclusions. Create and envision programmatic initiatives and communication strategies. Lead the comprehensive management of both exempt and non-exempt employees, overseeing the entire spectrum of functions including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. Direct and implement solutions to problems that are routine to complex in nature and that affect multiple functional areas of responsibility
Work Model: Hybrid- 3 days a week in office is required

Bachelor’s Degree in related field and six years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experienceRequired Skill/Ability 1:
