  • Manage Production Environment:

    • Monitor Production environments and work with various teams to resolve Mission Critical issues.

    • Provide expert advice and consultation with regards to Application and Web Server configurations (WebSphere Application Server, Apache, Tomcat) and Messaging solutions (IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ)

    • Provide level 2 and 3 production support for Middleware components and applications.

    • Lead problem resolution and improvement efforts

    • Drive constant interaction with application support, developers, and other infrastructure teams.

    • Enhance Middleware and Integration operating procedures to make a difference on a global or local scale.

    • Automate day to day tasks using Shell Scripts/Python, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef etc.

    • Lead MW specific B1 & B2 projects along with critical BAUs (Ex: Certificates, Security patch, etc.) within CYBS during US Time zone.

    • Manage CHGs/INC/Requests due to PD/PRE dependency during US time zone.

  • Cloud Initiative:

    • Lead the design, implementation, and management of highly available and scalable infrastructure for all cloud initiatives (Ex: GCP, Azure, AWS).

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud-based operational architectures.

    • Design, implement, and optimize Middleware components & services on GCP/Azure/AWS.

    • Develop and implement best practices and standards for deploying and managing applications on Middleware components.

    • Perform system and application performance tuning and optimization to maximize efficiency and scalability.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.



Basic Qualifications
 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.


Preferred Qualifications
 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
 Must have worked and supported complex distributed infrastructure involving Network, Load Balancers, Middleware, Storage, Databases etc. and should have the ability to drill down issues quickly.
 Must have experience in working on Middleware components on Cloud platform like GCP, Azure, AWS.
 Expert in WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server, Tomcat, Apache, Hazelcast.
 Experience with messaging solutions e.g., IBM MQ or Rabbit MQ.
 Experience in working on Kubernetes/Docker platform.
 Experience in Monitoring setup using Prometheus, App Dynamics, or similar tools.
 Automation skills using Shell Scripts, Perl, or Python
 Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipeline.
 Experience in troubleshooting production issues and problem solving.
 Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to deal with different teams in the organization and external customers.
 Experience working in Linux environment.
 Experience with at least one ticketing tool e.g., ServiceNow, Viper, Jira etc.
 Should be enthusiastic and have the urge to learn new technologies and accept challenges.
 Should have ITIL standards exposure with respect to Change, Incident and Problem.



Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 112,500.00 to 146,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
