Clear Colorado Group is looking for and experienced Packaging Manager to overseeing the packaging of all products from work in progress to finished product. Duties And Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and monitor team of packaging technicians to achieve daily packaging goals.
• Create, update and ensure adherence to packaging SOPs.
• Create and print accurate and compliant potency labels for all manufactured products including cartridges, vaporizers, joints, tablets, and gummies.
• Perform regular quality control checks for all labeling and packaging activities.
• Maintain all documentation for work orders and quality control check logs for all departments including production, testing, and destruction.
• Monitor upcoming rule changes and industry changes at the local, state, and national level and ensure compliance with current rules at local and state level.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment and enforce proper use of PPE.
• Use and troubleshoot all automated equipment used in the packaging department.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience overseeing a packaging operation for cannabis products.
• In-depth knowledge of Colorado MED compliance requirements and prior experience identifying and implementing applicable rule changes and then maintaining required compliance standards for all packaged products.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Solid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work positively and productively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good documentation, inventory management and organizational skills.
• Intermediate level computer skills including MS Office and accounting system experience.
  
  

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

• Able to stand for extended periods, and kneel, stoop, bend, twist, in tight areas
• Able to lift, up to 50 pounds
