Opening exists for an experienced HR Administrative Assistant with basic knowledge of General Human Resources protocol. Will be asked to serve on committees, run monthly reports, act as a liaison for outside companies, and work closely with the Director of Human Resources and Director of Safety & Workman’s Compensation on various administrative functions.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional Customer Service to all guests.
  • Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, mailing, data entry, scanning, and filing.
  • Manage the Unemployment Account through complete and timely responses to claims and attendance at Hearings.
  • Oversee the Termination process, including processing in the system, verifying receipt of materials, and distributing final check(s).
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, and HR trainings.
  • Track and verify work card compliance throughout the company.
  • Support the Human Resources staff in assigned project-based work.
  • Sort morning and afternoon mail.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required, normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Word and Excel. Must have excellent telephone skills and professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to type 50 wpm, normally acquired through one to three years of clerical experience. Must be able to obtain registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Working Conditions

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Some traveling involved.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or the equivalent.

Licenses: Driver's License.
