Description

This role maintains, installs, modifies, and repairs all equipment used in Filling, Compounding and R&D. In addition, the position provides mechanical support to the Production floor through equipment set⁃ups and continuous improvement projects to meet Estée Lauder's quality standards and expected line efficiencies.

Position Responsibilities

  • Monitor and modify equipment to ensure maximum productivity and quality are achieved.
  • Perform trouble shooting and repairs on equipment located in all serviced departments.
  • Assist operators and fellow mechanics with challenges during set⁃ups, operation and troubleshooting of the equipment.
  • Maintain the inventory of needed spare parts.
  • Train operators on technical abilities of equipment.
  • Perform installations and assist in validation of new equipment.
  • Performs general mechanical tasks to meet both production and building needs.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to display basic mechanical/technical skills
  • Must be able to display basic computer skills
  • Must have strong communication, problem solving and multi⁃tasking skills
  • Education/Work Experience: Two years college or technical school or three years of experience in related field
  • Must possess basic equipment knowledge
  • Display strong math skills (addition, subtraction, %ages, averages)
