Lilly has begun implementing its vision for the Lab of the Future (LoF) strategy, starting with the LUNA Program for LabVantage solution deployment. This initiative aims to enhance lab efficiency and compliance through advanced technologies like AI.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Modern Architecture: Establishing and maintaining scalable and resilient lab platforms with seamless integrations.
  • Comprehensive Data Strategy: Accelerating deployment of Lab Data Products through robust Data Governance and supporting standards.
  • Standardized Business Processes: Providing infrastructure and system design for global business processes and master data.
  • Automation: Partnering with Global Analytical Quality to automate tasks, reduce errors, and balance testing strategies.

As a senior System Engineer, you will lead LoF platforms, ensuring robust IT support processes and collaboration with business SMEs and third-party providers on design and implementation.

How You Will Succeed

  • Design and develop product architecture for Lab Information and Lab Execution platforms.
  • Build a technical team aligned with business needs across global lab programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design efficient solutions for manufacturing laboratories.
  • Ensure integration, stability, and usability of products across technologies.
  • Influence technical direction with application Architects and service providers.
  • Drive site adoption of solutions in line with IT strategy.
  • Design resilient solutions with effective monitoring and error handling.
  • Communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders and influence senior leadership.
  • Mentor peers to support the Lab of the Future vision.

What You Should Bring

  • Strong knowledge of platforms like SQL, Cloud Technologies, and advanced analytics.
  • Experience with foundational lab platforms and integration technologies.
  • Leadership experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Experience with Agile development processes.
  • Understanding of Quality processes in IT for Manufacturing Laboratories.

Your Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience with GMP systems.

Additional Information:

Full-time position, travel 10 to 25%. Occasional off hours and weekend work may be required.
