Guest Room Cleaning Assistant

The Guest Room Cleaning Assistant for DTS Housing plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, prospective residents, staff, faculty, and other guests who stay in our Campus Housing Guest Rooms. The ideal candidate is flexible, self-motivated, and committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Clean guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, according to established standards.
• Replenish guest room supplies, such as toiletries, towels, and linens.
• Ensure proper handling and care of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Respond promptly to on-call requests for cleaning services, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Inspect rooms for damages or maintenance needs and report findings to the appropriate department.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and staff.
• Collaborates with other Housing team members to ensure an incomparable customer experience
• Other duties as assigned

Commitments Unique to the Position:

• Must select a course schedule that is conducive to the requirements of the role (approved by Supervisor)
• Work weekends as needed
