Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks on construction sites.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using voltmeters and logic controllers to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to build and renovate structures as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Experience with logic controllers and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Ability to perform frame carpentry tasks as needed during renovation projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to diagnosing issues.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members on construction sites.
- Versatile maintenance person skills that contribute to overall project success.
