Substitute Teacher

Looking for flexible teaching work in Hogan or Jacksonville’s Southside? We’re hiring daily substitute teachers to support local schools in Duval County. What to expect:

• Cover classes for short-term teacher absences
• Maintain a productive and respectful classroom environment
• Work regular teacher hours on the days you’re booked

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework preferred)
• At least one year working with children in a classroom or youth setting
• Morning flexibility (jobs often assigned between 6:00–6:30am)
• Calm, confident classroom presence and strong communication
• 21+ years old

Bonus points if you're:

• Familiar with local Jacksonville school culture
• Interested in long-term opportunities in education
