Title: Front End Developer

Location: 5 days a week onsite in Alexandria, VA

Pay: 120,000-130,000/year

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Developer with a strong background in Angular (v15+), RxJS, and modern front-end development practices. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing responsive, user-centric web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build intuitive interfaces and deliver seamless user experiences aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance front-end applications using Angular 15+ and RxJS.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers to create responsive and engaging user interfaces.
• Translate UI/UX wireframes into functional, high-quality code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Integrate front-end solutions with Azure cloud services and APIs.
• Participate in Agile development cycles, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Review and debug code, perform unit testing, and ensure code quality and consistency.
• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends, proactively identifying improvement opportunities.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Proficiency with Angular 15+ and RxJS in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Experience working with Azure cloud services and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Experience in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques.
