Job Description: We are looking for a strong individual to assist the general manager with the day-to-day operations of the restaurant; including staff management, customer service and inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train and mentor new staff, set job expectations and conduct performance reviews
  • Resolve guest questions and complaints and ensure a positive dining experience
  • Place orders for ingredients, utensils and equipment and manage inventory
  • Schedule shifts and assign table sections to waitstaff
  • Manage payroll
  • Ensure the restaurant follows health and safety regulations
  • Record income and expenses, and balance cash registers
  • Coordinate between back- and front- of- house staff
  • Use problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve issues

  • Passion for the hospitality industry

  • Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant
  • Experience using payroll software
  • Accounting and arithmetic skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
