We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of construction projects. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our project management team, playing a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of our construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD software and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer, your duties will include but are not limited to

  • Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
  • Utilizing CAD software to develop detailed project designs and plans.
  • Evaluating project specifications and requirements to ensure compliance with regulations and client needs.
  • Coordinating with architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Analyzing and resolving technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Conducting site inspections and monitoring project progress to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
  • Preparing and presenting project progress reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Participating in project meetings and providing technical input.
  • Assisting in the preparation of project budgets and schedules.
  • Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry.
  • Proficient in the use of CAD software for design and project planning.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of project stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to take initiative and work independently when required.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as required.
