We have an exciting opportunity for a personable, highly detailed and organized person to join our team as a Certification Clerk.

CSI Support and Development is a mission driven non-profit organization. Our organization develops and manages affordable rental communities for seniors. At CSI Support and Development our resident volunteers partner with staff to manage the day to day operations of their home through our unique cooperative management system.

As a Certification Clerk You Will

  • Exemplify the Core Values of Respect, Integrity, Cooperation, Excellence, Education and Volunteerism.
  • Complete financial certifications following the specific HUD/LIHTC program requirements in a timely manner.
  • Work in partnership with the Co-op liaison and Co-op leasing committee to ensure maximum occupancy
  • Maintain applicant and member files current and up to date
  • Complete administrative office duties
  • Contribute to team efforts by assisting where needed
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and characteristics:

  • Knowledge and experience with HUD, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit and HOME affordable senior housing programs
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent math skills
  • Be detail oriented, organized and able to produce timely and accurate documents
  • Demonstrate respect, passion and commitment to working with seniors
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Certified Occupancy Specialist experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and transport various materials weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge of fair housing rules and regulations
  • Desire an opportunity to advance Certified Occupancy Specialist and Sr. Occupancy Specialist
