Position Description
The Kentucky Manufacturing Extension Partnership (KY-MEP) is seeking an Outreach Marketing Manager to oversee the student outbound call and student marketing teams. Manager will recruit, develop and oversee a team of students as they initiate appointments for the KY-MEP sales team, support the KY-MEP marketing team, and work with KY-MEP clients on marketing special projects. Office hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday and the workstations are located off campus at the UofL Atria Senior Living Campus. This position will report to the management team at KY-MEP.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead, strategize and coordinate outbound calls and emails to prospective clients utilizing Salesforce database to identify manufacturing site principles and schedule appointments for the Client Services/Sales team members. Provide summary updates with outcome of calls/emails.
- Develop, lead, and coordinate student workers in outbound marketing activities for KY-MEP clients as a service offering.
- Identify, maintain, and train student teams on duties and responsibilities.
- Develop and establish best practices for cold calling duties and activities.
- Coordinate and grow outbound cold calling and other service programs which align with KY-MEP strategies and activities.
- Travel as appropriate to support activities and efforts.
- Other duties aligned with outbound marketing activities as determined by KY-MEP senior management team.
- Position may require some in-state travel

- Experienced problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of marketing and outreach techniques and best practices.
- Working knowledge of professional social media platforms and content best practices.
- Experience researching topics and report out requirements.
- Ability to lead a team in a small office environment.
- Experienced setting and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for success
- Ability to stay overnight as needed

This position is funded through a grant until 2032 and subject to the availability of funds.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
