Job Details
Responsibilities
- Performing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including bank and account reconciliations.
- Preparing and analyzing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
- Preparing and recording journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
- Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring all financial data is accurate.
- Assisting with audits, working closely with auditors to ensure all financial information is presented accurately and in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Assisting with cash management and forecasting cash flow.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis between actuals and budget, and provide clear explanations for variances.
- Working on special projects as needed, providing financial insights and recommendations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or MBA is strongly preferred.
- Prior Audit Experience. Big 4 a plus, but not necessary
- At least 1 full year as Corporate Senior Accountant
- Experience with ERP systems. NetSuite is a plus
