This role mirrors the responsibilities of the 3rd shift Lab Technician and will be based entirely onsite at our Santa Rosa facility. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, a passion for laboratory work, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to perform laboratory analyses.
- Accurately identify and process analytical samples, ensuring proper sequencing for each batch.
- Acquire and process data from instruments such as GC/MS and LC/MS/MS, generating appropriate reports.
- Perform initial reviews of analytical data in accordance with assay-specific SOPs.
- Transcribe or upload results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) for final review and certification.
- Maintain accurate Chain of Custody (COC) documentation for all sample batches.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and escalate any issues promptly.
- Uphold and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in an analytical laboratory setting.
- Demonstrated ability to safely handle biological specimens, chemicals, instruments, and laboratory equipment.
