About this role:
Your responsibilities will include conducting cycle counts using a grouping system, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, and collaborating with Planning, Warehouse, Production, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless operations. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, is committed to contributing to operational excellence, and is eager to develop their skills in inventory management and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cycle count materials based on the “ABC” grouping system which will be monitored by the Inventory Control Manager.
- Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports.
- Assist in determining root causes of inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors.
- Responsible for answering Planning, Warehouse, Production, and Engineering inquiries in a timely manner.
- Always follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Any other tasks or projects may be assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
- Works under direct supervision to assist with Materials Planning and SIOP program management tasks.
- Translates, distributes, and maintains limited-scope Materials Planning and SIOP policy and procedure documents, manuals, and other related information.
- Collects and analyzes basic data on a periodic basis (e.g., monthly, quarterly) and helps to maintain data management systems.
- Develops routine reports detailing Materials Planning and SIOP activities.
- Develops basic communication materials.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6+ months experience working with Carrier
- Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Basic PC knowledge
- Ability to follow procedures, best practices and report unsafe and unprofessional behavior
- Multi-tasking, WMS knowledge preferred, forklift driving (can get certified here)
