Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual who is eager to grow into a highly skilled and engaged Aircraft Inspector. This role requires continuous development through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on, on-the-job training. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to learning and upholding the standards expected by the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in and successfully complete structured classroom and on-the-job training to gain the knowledge and skills required for the role.
- Utilize aircraft maintenance manuals, company documentation, and Federal Aviation Regulations to ensure all aircraft remain airworthy and safe for operation in a variety of environments.
- Support and adhere to company policies, OSHA regulations (as applicable), and industry best practices to promote a safe and compliant work environment.
- Understand and apply principles of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), recognizing its impact on daily operations and employee performance.
- Conduct inspections and evaluations as required, including potential travel as part of a maintenance recovery team.
- Perform duties as an aircraft maintenance technician when necessary.
- Participate in or facilitate on-the-job training sessions, either as a trainee or an instructor.
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned, or as operational needs arise.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

- Previous experience in aircraft maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated aircraft maintenance experience as an FAA A&P w/IA.
- Demonstrated knowledge of military (day or night) flight line operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications—read, interpret, follow and comprehend schematic diagrams, drawings, charts, and technical publications.
- Demonstrated experience completing, maintaining, and researching aircraft records.
- Demonstrated knowledge of 14 CFR Part 43, 65, 91, and 145.
- Demonstrated experience with OSHA requirements 29 CFR 1910.
- Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills. Requires a 2 years post-Secondary/Associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience or High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance (Secret or higher), which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Additional Requirements
- Airframe and Powerplant certificate (A&P), with Inspection Authorization (IA) verifiable with FAA.
- Current civilian driver’s license, with ability to obtain and maintain a government flight line driver’s license.
- Available to work any shift or split shift and weekends as required.
- Must possess and maintain a current United States Passport for CONUS and OCONUS deployments.
- Must be in good physical condition, and capable of completing/passing a required physical exam and CRC course prior to OCONUS deployment.
- Qualified to work with job-related hazardous materials.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Capable of working in Windows based environments.
Preferred Experience
- Demonstrated experience working on Gulfstream G550 or similar airframe experience.
Physical Demands
This maintenance classification activity is usually accomplished in a flight line-like environment with extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands. May require lifting of objects whose weight normally will not exceed 50lbs. Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close and peripheral vision, and acceptable depth perception.
