The Accounting Clerk will provide clerical and administrative support to accounting department.

The Accounting Clerk will provide clerical and administrative support to accounting department.
Responsibilities
- Supporting accounting operations by filing documents, reconciling statements, and running software programs.
- Credit card administration, management and reconciliation.
- Assist accounts payable with AP approvals, invoice coding and processing.
- Assist accounts receivable with billings and receivables.
- Reconciling bank statements by comparing statements with the general ledger.
- Assisting accountants and accounting managers in handling the accounting department's workflow.
- Preparing accounting reports and tracking accounts payable.
- Assembling deposits and keeping accurate records relating to accounts receivable.
- Making ledger entries and ensuring accuracy of all transactions.
- Reconciling accounts and balancing company financials.
- Researching and correcting entries as necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Basic understanding of how to operate standard business equipment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in office administration or related field preferred.
- At least three years of administrative and clerical experience required.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
