General Summary

The Development Production Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support for the Production Development department.

Job Functions

  • Help maintain calendars, prep materials, and space for internal and inter-departmental meetings and reviews.
  • Provide coverage for the Story/Edit and Art & Design Coordinators as needed.
  • Assist the Development Directorial team with their schedules and general administration needs.
  • Assist with design tasks such as collating reference materials, prepping for reviews and presentations, and updating materials as requested by creative leadership.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as recording department outages, time off requests, updating mailing lists, and submitting reimbursement forms.
  • Take notes for production-driven meetings, input notes into ShotGrid, and follow up with departments on relevant action items.
  • Assist with printing, copying, and scanning needs for the department, and troubleshoot issues with Facilities and/or Technology.
  • Help keep the office areas clean, organized, and supplies stocked.
  • Aid various departments in short and long-term projects as requested by Production.
  • Assist Production in preparing various department events, including team bonding.
  • Track spending and maintain regular expense reports for Accounting.

Qualifications

  • 0 - 2 years of work experience, prior film production experience, a plus.
  • Hardworking with a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
  • General knowledge of Adobe Design Software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Knowledge of ShotGrid software or other database software, a plus.

Salary

$20.00/hour set rate, non-negotiable.
