Home Instead is seeking an individual from the Henderson Area that is enthusiastic, self motivated, with high energy to join our Human Resource Team.
The Recruitment and Retention Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of duties including but not limited to the recruiting, screening, hiring, training, and retaining of Care Professionals to serve our elderly clients. This person will also work closely with the scheduling department to ensure appropriate matching of Care Professionals availability to meet client needs. Experience in Human Resources and Staffing preferred.

Experience in Human Resources and Staffing preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies within the community to meet manpower needs.
- Schedule and conduct applicant interviews in a proficient and professional manner.
- Create and maintain all employment records to include initial hire, training, rewards, and disciplinary measures.
- Conduct reference checks, criminal background checks, and motor vehicle records checks
- Schedule and conduct Care Professionals orientation and training and Care Professionals quarterly meetings.
- Plan for and create new innovative methods for employee retention and job satisfaction.
- Prepare and publish monthly company news letter.
- Work within the staffing department to schedule Care Professionals shifts.
- Assume on-call responsibility as the acting supervisor after company hours.
- Prefer Experience with HR and fast paced scheduling.
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to lead and conduct presentations for large groups of employees

- Ability to multi task in a fast pace setting
