
SUMMARY
To execute, oversee, and assist with internal Victory events as well as lobby life enhancements look, décor, and feel in a way that exemplifies Victory. Provide collaborative leadership and active management to the creative process & execution of service and event experiences. Serve the House at large through the quality control of all event/service elements, carrying out Victory’s culture in ALL aspects of Victory experiences. Champion of internal communications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Victory Events Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Planning Center Online oversight & administration, ministry-wide
- Development of weekly service design
- Consult & assist with auxiliary events/services to maintain consistency, excellence, and promote unity
- VCS chapels, graduations, or large events
- VC chapels, graduations, or large events
- Campus Services
- Initiate Campus Creative Service Mtgs
- Misc. Events; ensuring each event is set up for success through communication and planning
- Oversee Ministry Events Calendar guaranteeing there are no competing internal or external events
- Develop and Manage an inventory + check-in/out system for the event decor closet
- Co-Manage and Systemize Events Budgets
- Champion consistent communication, both externally & internally
- Create a process for balancing announcements in services
- Steward each event from commission to clean up
- Schedule creative mtgs., assist in the timeline of related projects, and follow up with checkpoints for each area
- Co-Manage Event Marketing and Media
- Lead in the area of lobby life enhancements, producing in a way that exemplifies Victory
- Implement a debrief and review process for all major events.
- Co-manage service/sermon archive database with AV
- Create and implement checklists for all events i.e. Implement an Event Tier System
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience with Event Coordination with large organizations preferred.
- Maintains and demonstrates a mature Christian lifestyle consistent with the teachings of the Church.
- Good communication, problem solving, and priority setting skills as well as maintaining an overall positive and professional attitude /disposition.
- Ability to effectively plan, organize and implement educational activities.
- Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology.
- Must be able to manage confidential information.
