Your ability to navigate change seamlessly while fostering solid stakeholder relationships in a highly cross-functional environment will be crucial. You will oversee multiple projects, each varying in scope, risk, complexity, and timelines.

Primary Responsibilities
- End-to-end project management, demonstrating ownership of the entire process
- Onboard new payer clients through the implementation of Healthy Benefit+ products and services. Use consultative approach to partner with others to produce optimum result and simultaneously build trust and commitment with Optum Financial clients
- Lead project teams and manage all activities in a project lifecycle (initiating, planning, executing/controlling & closing)
- Develop, communicate, and implement program/project risk/issue management plans and strategies (e.g., mitigation, avoidance, transfer, acceptance)
- Create and effectively manage deliverables for client implementation projects: Charter/Scope, Microsoft Project Schedule, Issues, Risks, Action Items Decision (IRAD) Log, Weekly Implementation Executive Status Report, Lessons Learned, etc.
- Manage projects across multiple cross functional teams. (e.g., Operations, Sales, Product, Technology)
- Consult with business partners to clarify and define project requirements and business case. Provide recommendations to clients that support best practices and ensure positive member experience
- Understand complex problems and proactively focus on bringing issues to resolution, escalating as necessary to meet timelines
- Represent implementation team throughout sales process and prospect presentations, as needed
- Identify and initiate internal process improvements; lead special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the management of large, complex implementation projects in the healthcare industry
- Client facing experience
- Healthcare payer experience
- Healthcare industry experience
- Medicare and Medicaid experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- PMP Certification
