JOB SUMMARY:
Greets and assists guests with parking and checking in, assists with rooming guests, and provides special services as needed to make guests' stays more enjoyable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:
Greet guests, open vehicle doors for guests where practical, and provide information regarding parking and checking in.
Secure guest luggage and personal items prior to checking in or after checking out.
Valet-park guest vehicles and retrieve the vehicles at the guests' requests in a timely, effective, and courteous manner.
Assist Butlers with rooming guests. When rooming guests, explain critical information regarding safety and comfort, special features of the rooms, and use of Inn facilities.
Interact with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Inn Butlers to make guests' stays more enjoyable.
Explain resort amenities to guests and answer inquiries pertaining to shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
When rooming guests, walk the halls and clear them of room service items, trash, etc.
Receive special requests from guests and meet their needs in a timely, effective, and courteous manner.
Ensure that guests consistently receive prompt, cordial attention at all times, including personal recognition and appreciation for their visiting the Resort.
Attend Inn Staff Meetings and participate in on-going training and development.
Assist with housekeeping and janitorial duties, as needed, inside and outside the Inn.
Prepare guest packets and other clerical work as needed.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Required Experience
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree and minimum of six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Good customer service and communication skills are essential. Mechanical aptitude needed.
