Job Description
This position takes place in-person at our headquarters in Eau Claire, WI.
The intern designer’s main objective will be to utilize his/her knowledge of modern design trends and manufactured materials to help design an array of projects utilizing 3D modeling and provide inspiration and guidance to guests.
Primary Responsibilities
This position takes place in-person at our headquarters in Eau Claire, WI.
The intern designer’s main objective will be to utilize his/her knowledge of modern design trends and manufactured materials to help design an array of projects utilizing 3D modeling and provide inspiration and guidance to guests.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design 3D projects using Blender to create lifelike scenes for a variety of products produced by Midwest Manufacturing.
- Work with 3D lighting to make the rendering as lifelike as possible.
- Assist in the development of instructional manuals that accompany each product to guide guests through the building process.
- Create animated videos for installation of products.
- Use Premiere and After Effects to assist in video production.
- Render images used for designing programs.
- Create 3D models for use in designing programs.
- Any additional design projects as assigned by the Manager.
- Degree in Progress in Animation, Graphic Design, or another design-related field.
- Experience creating 3D designs using Blender and Google SketchUp.
- Experience with Adobe Create Suite.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Able to work in PC environments.
- Strong creative skills.
- Flexible, self-guided, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
