Radio Board Operator: Full-time

PURPOSE: The Board Operator serves Star 88 & KLYT Radio with fervency while keeping perfection in mind and doing so for His Glory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Engineer and produce archive for ABQ Connect

• Production of underwriting announcments and promos

• Assist with imaging production for KLYT & Star 88

• Maintain KLYT and Star 88 social media developing strategies and making regular posts

• Create promos, public service announcements and vignettes for KLYT Radio

• Act as board operator

• Utilize Zetta/G-Selector radio automation

• Serve as producer for programs as assigned, including both Wednesday and Saturday night Calvary service

• Voice tracking

• Loading content into radio automation for on-air use

• Support of remote assignments as requested

• Competent use of production software and radio automation programs

• Maintain content on KLYT.fm

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Capable ability to utilize audio production and radio automation programs

• Flexible and comfortable with change

• Strong organizational skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept directions on given assignments

• WordPress and/or Squarespace competency
