The Investments Relationship Specialist provides administrative, sales, and marketing support to F&M Financial Services Advisors.

This is a non-exempt position working primarily Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. with afterhours work and
overtime as necessary.
The Investments Relationship Specialist provides administrative, sales, and marketing support to F&M Financial Services Advisors.
Essential Duties
Investments Relationship Specialist I / II:
- Onboards new account clients into appropriate systems including creating client profile in Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) system following proper procedures.
- Follows up with clients on transfers, rollovers, checks, and delivery requirements.
- Schedules and organizes appointments for clients and prospective clients with Advisors.
- Assists Advisors in searching for relationship opportunities internally and externally.
- Meets with clients to accept unsolicited trades or instructions in the absence of Advisors ( move to below) .
- Creates and maintains marketing materials in conjunction with F & M Bank marketing department. Provides marketing/promotional materials to branches ensuring stock is current.
- Coordinate seminars, events, and other client appreciation events.
- Prepares for and coordinates department and other meetings. Prepares meeting agendas and other information needed as well as takes meetings’ minutes.
- Tracks referrals from Bank employees and provides report to Human Resources for referral bonuses.
- Performs other related administrative, operational, and clerical duties as required.
- Maintains regular, reliable attendance.
- Assists in providing investment guidance to customers that may require transactions to be processed.
- Prepares financial plans and executes trades as needed to help clients achieve their goals.
- Meets with clients to accept unsolicited trades or instructions in the absence of Advisors.

- Excellent organizational skills.
- Possess effective interpersonal skills to relate to all audiences.
- Excellent pc skills to include MS Office products and ability to learn and utilize other job-specific software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Respond to and deal effectively with all types of customers.
- Add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Respond to sensitive inquiries and work with and maintain confidential/sensitive information.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent and prior administrative experience.
- Series 7, 66, and Health and Life License or licensed within 6 months of hire to advance to Investments Relationship Specialist II.
- Associate degree and a minimum of one-year administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in financial services industry.
- The employee regularly sits and uses hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Noise level is usually moderate.
