Job Summary

As a Permits and Licensing Administrator at Boxabl, you will play a crucial role in revolutionizing the future of housing sales by acquiring and maintaining licenses & permits necessary for the manufacturing, sales and distribution of our innovative products across various states. Collaborating with the Sales & Engineering team, you will research regulatory requirements, prepare & submit applications, and liaise with government agencies to ensure compliance with local, state & federal regulations. Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams and stakeholders to identify permit requirements for the sale and distribution of BOXABL products in various states.
  • Research and stay updated on sales tax regulations, licensing requirements, and permit processes in different jurisdictions.
  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on permit applications for sales tax licenses, resale certificates, and other necessary permits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, tax authorities, and other relevant parties to obtain necessary permits and approvals for sales and distribution timely.
  • Maintain organized records of permit applications, approvals, and other related documentation
  • Monitor permit timelines and communicate effectively with sales teams to ensure timely processing and approval.
  • Provide guidance and support to sales teams on permit-related matters, offering solutions to overcome challenges or obstacles.
  • Develop and implement best practices for permit acquisition and management processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Serve as a liaison between BOXABL and regulatory agencies, representing the company professionally and advocating for our interests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience And Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field preferred.

  • Proven experience working with permits related to sales, licensing, or taxation, with a strong understanding of permit processes and regulations.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple permits simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to different jurisdictions.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate complex permit requirements and challenges effectively.
