We are looking for a driven and curious Junior Level Water / Wastewater Engineer in Alaska.

As part of our team, you will work with a core group of engineers and designers on some of the most complex drinking water treatment projects in our region. You will work in planning studies, pilot scale evaluations, treatment technologies, process/mechanical engineering, and field assignments to collaborate with our team to deliver meaningful solutions for drinking water and wastewater projects challenges. The work will involve technical studies, computer modelling, technical writing, engineering design, and engineering services during construction.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred)
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive engineering and project delivery experience with drinking water and wastewater, including process planning, evaluations, piloting, modeling, design and operation.
  • Self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis skills, technical problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Master’s or other graduate degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred)
  • Proven experience working on water and wastewater projects (ideally including planning, design, permitting, construction phase services, and commissioning)
  • Familiarity with State and Federal government regulatory frameworks related to water and wastewater treatment

The base salary range for this position is $73,500.00 to $111,100.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
