Job Summary

The MRI Technologist will perform MR imaging procedures under supervision, ensuring patient care, safety, and compliance with protocols. Responsibilities include patient education, record maintenance, and magnetic field safety enforcement. The role requires independent and team collaboration.

Specific Responsibilities

• Perform MR imaging procedures and maintain patient comfort.
• Administer contrast agents as needed.
• Ensure timely documentation in PACS.
• Communicate schedule changes to front desk staff.
• Conduct equipment quality checks and maintain cleanliness.
• May assist in other imaging modalities.
  
  

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of MRI procedures and protocols.
• Proficient in PACS and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  
  

Required Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED.
• Certified radiology technologist program completion.
• Current ARRT and CPR certifications.
• Minimum 2 years MRI clinical experience.
  
  

Physical Demands And Work Environment

Ability to perform physical activities and provide diagnostic care indoors.
