Position Summary
The VP Pharmacy is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, and regulatory compliance of all pharmacy services within the health system. This role ensures the delivery of safe, effective, and cost-efficient pharmaceutical care across inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory settings, collaborating with medical staff, nursing, and administrative leadership to optimize medication management processes and enhance patient outcomes. Scope includes all pharmacy operations including retail pharmacy, 340B program, &outpatient infusion services. This position also serves as the system Chief Pharmacy Officer in accordance with Oregon administrative rules.

Position Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in health system pharmacy, with demonstrated success in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- 340B program management experience.
- Retail pharmacy operations, infusion services, and pharmacy benefit design, preferred.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required; Master's in Pharmacy Administration, Health Administration, Informatics, or Business preferred.
- RPh : Registered Pharmacist (RPh) by Oregon Board of Pharmacy (or ability to obtain).
- Lead initiatives to expand and improve pharmacy services, including clinical programs and retail operations.
- Implement and monitor adherence to policies and procedures that comply with federal and state regulations, including Oregon Board of Pharmacy requirements.
- Lead initiatives to optimize medication safety, inventory management, clinical pharmacy services, and cost-effective formulary use.
