Description
The Psychiatry Research Office (PRO) supports research initiatives conducted by clinical faculty in the Department of Psychiatry. The PRO assists clinician-researchers in conducting preliminary studies for grant proposals, and the preparation and submission of grant proposals and scholarly manuscripts. Working under the general direction of the Research Director, the RC will provide overall coordination of research projects by faculty to support collection of preliminary data for grant proposals, including assisting with preparation of IRB applications, human subject recruitment, informed consent procedures, collection and management of clinical research data, and conducting structured clinical interviews with individuals experiencing first-episode psychosis. The RC will also participate in developing and managing the research infrastructure necessary to support these activities. They will write and edit reports and assist in preparation of manuscripts, develop and monitor reports and work with funding agencies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and at least two years of related work experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Interest in working with individuals with serious mental illness; prior experience with young individuals a plus
- Familiarity with database management and analysis programs such as RedCap, Excel, or SPSS.
- Organizing and completing time sensitive tasks Willingness and ability to work in a busy environment with shifting and competing priorities Strong communication skills, and ability to work well with a team
