Summary

Responsible for providing support to the assigned department by performing a wide range of administrative tasks.

General Responsibilities

  • Assisting management with daily tasks such as typing correspondence, entering data into a computer, filing records and answering phones.
  • Under direct supervision, may be responsible for entry-level functions that may involve receiving, sorting and distributing incoming mail; organizing and scheduling appointments; handling customer inquiries and maintaining office supplies.
  • Performs other clerical duties that may be needed under the direction of management.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

0 – 2 years general office work experience.

Technical Proficiency

Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook and Excel. May require proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.

Working Conditions

Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Extended use of a computer keyboard, viewing of a computer monitor and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
