About Gather Voices

Gather Voices was established in 2017 to empower organizations with scalable video solutions that deepen relationships with their audiences. Our platform enables organizations to collect, manage, edit, and share user-generated video content with ease.

With a focus on the events industry, we’ve launched Kiosk Services—a done-for-you service where our team captures video testimonials, short videos, and attendee stories on-site at events. Our Video Kiosk technology makes it simple to collect high-quality, authentic videos from event attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors.

As we expand our Kiosk Services, we are seeking an energetic, engaging, and tech-savvy contractor in Las Vegas to help us run the Video Kiosk at events. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy engaging with people, and can manage simple technology, this role could be a great fit for you.

About the Role

As a Video Kiosk Event Assistant, you will be responsible for operating the Gather Voices Video Kiosk at live events. This is a part-time contract role where you will work only when we have events in your area.

The role is a blend of technical troubleshooting, guest engagement, and persuasion skills. You’ll need to:

  • Set up and manage the Video Kiosk to ensure it operates smoothly throughout the event. It’s very simple, but it requires attention to detail.
  • Engage with event attendees, making them feel comfortable on camera and guiding them through the recording process. This is the key! You gotta be engaged and engaging.
  • Encourage people to record videos, using your outgoing personality and persuasive skills to get participation—even if it means handling frequent rejections.
  • Ensure high-quality video content by prompting participants with key messaging and maintaining a positive, supportive environment.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to the kiosk hardware and software (we’ll provide training, and no deep technical expertise is required).
  • Represent Gather Voices professionally, ensuring that every participant has a great experience.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a confident, people-oriented communicator with a mix of technical awareness, performance skills, and sales-like persistence. You might be a great fit if you:

  • Are outgoing and engaging, comfortable approaching and talking to people at events.
  • Have experience in roles that require improvisation, performance, or sales-like persistence, such as acting, comedy improv, brand ambassador work, customer engagement, or cold calling.
  • Can handle rejection gracefully, understanding that not everyone will want to record a video, but you keep going with positivity.
  • Are tech-savvy enough to manage simple hardware and software issues (basic troubleshooting skills required—training provided).
  • Are highly dependable and able to work events as scheduled.
  • Live in one of the cities listed (we are looking for a local contractor to minimize travel needs).

Compensation & Benefits

  • $300 per event day (typically a full-day shift).
  • Travel expenses covered for events outside the immediate city area.
  • Opportunities for ongoing work at multiple events throughout the year.
  • Be part of an exciting, fast-growing company that values storytelling, video innovation, and authentic human connection.

How to Apply

If this sounds like a role you’d enjoy, we’d love to hear from you! Please fill out the form and make a quick video to complete your application. If you have experience in public speaking, improv, sales, or customer engagement, feel free to include any relevant examples.
