What You'll Do:

Responsibilities of the Assistant Scratch-Off Manager include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the Ohio Lottery Commission’s Scratch-Off Equipment program.
  • Analyzes and evaluates scratch-off equipment including the SCIQ, Select 4, and PlayCentral Units.
  • Analyzes and evaluates potential sales for new retailer locations and sales at existing retailer locations to determine the benefits and opportunities for the equipment.
  • Provides advice to the Deputy Director of Product Innovation and Deputy Director of Sales to aid in decision making for proper placement of equipment, for appropriate number of bins, and for adding additional equipment at retailer locations.
  • Develops plan-o-grams for all retailers with self-service equipment every 6 weeks with the launch of new games.
  • Coordinates the quantity and placement of Chain Account self-service equipment and plan-o-grams with Lottery Executive Account Representatives and Regional Management.
  • Assists the Scratch-Off Product Manager with structure of games, types of games, new game creation, and re-design of existing games.
  • Works with manager to achieve agency scratch-off ticket gaming goals and objectives.
  • Assists with new game launches and gaming closings based on dynamic timelines.
  • Attends and assists in the evaluation of focus group concepts for product introduction and development of the product portfolio.
  • Assists with developing, executing, and reviewing research for scratch-off games.
  • Assists in data analytics for scratch-off products including portfolio planning, prize structure development, sales benchmarking, sales indexing, and promotional opportunities.
  • Performs other duties and works on special projects.

Qualifications

  • 4 years training or 4 years experience in business administration management science or public administration.

  • Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 years training or 2 years experience in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.
<
  • Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 years training or 2 years experience in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.
<
  • Or 1 year experience as Program Administrator 1, 63122.

  • Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above
