Customer Account Representative

ASSA ABLOY Fenestration LLC. is seeking a Customer Account Representative to join our team in Reno, Nevada. This is a full-time temporary position needed for 4-5 months beginning in May-25. Our company specializes in designing innovative and customized hardware solutions for the residential window and door market in North America. Our product line includes advanced systems for window and door applications and includes a full line of European hardware solutions.

Position Summary

Ensures delivery of excellent customer service through professional customer communication, and coordination with other departments to quickly and accurately resolve inquiries and issues. The Customer Account Representative is the first point of customer contact for general inquiries such as pricing, products, order status, shipping discrepancies, etc. The goal is to build and maintain business relationships with customers by providing prompt and accurate service, to promote customer loyalty and help grow the ASSA ABLOY brand.

Essential Job Functions

Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Resolve e-mail and phone inquiries regarding Order Status, Product, and Pricing for Customers and Sales
• Expedite orders, working with various internal departments to ensure product availability and timely shipment
• Initiate debits/credits resulting from customer feedback. This involves researching and understanding the problem, taking appropriate action, following up on Return Goods Authorizations, and logging all Quality Issues
• Work with various internal departments on customer issues and needs (Billing, Credit, Shipping, Planning, Purchasing, etc.)
• Partner with sales reps to act as a true Fenestration Solutions Expert
• Work with Engineering and other departments to set up new item or customer cross-references
• Ensure all customer profiles are accurate and up to date
• Knowledge of International shipping requirements a plus

• Teamwork – works well within the team and cross-functionally
• Ability to be resourceful and flexible as conditions change or while encountering obstacles
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Educational & Certification

• High School Diploma, Two-year degree is a plus
