The Director of GP Operations will also be responsible for managing the team and ensuring they are abiding by policy/procedures.

Summary of the Role:
The Director of GP Operations is responsible for maintaining operations at Maitri’s Growing and Processing facility. The Director of GP Operations will also be responsible for managing the team and ensuring they are abiding by policy/procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring GP production, supply levels and inventory is in alignment with business objectives
- Responsible for ensuring managers are in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Ensures consistent policies and procedures are developed and trained on
- Ensures managers and teams have appropriate, accessible, and intuitive systems and structures that facilitate the efficient, effective, and safe execution of their roles and responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring general cultural expectations are communicated to and practiced by team leaders
- To ensure operations are optimized for profitability while maintaining the expected brand vision of quality
- Ensures all operations are compliant with applicable rules and regulations
- Ensures operations are compliant with OSHA safety standards
- Coaches and guides team mates through analytical problem solving
- Collaborates with Human Resources to mediate conflict resolutions
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, management or any related field
- A minimum of 10 years experience working in an operations role and a minimum of five years in a management or leadership capacity
- Demonstrated success in creating creative and practical solutions to increase employee productivity and maximize profitability
- Microsoft Office skills and proficient in Google Suite
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

- Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours a day
- Flexible schedule availability
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
- Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work around plants, cannot have allergies to plants or plant environment
- Work can be dirty/sticky and may leave you smelling like cannabis at the end of the day
- Work will be in a warehouse setting: temperatures may vary from warm to cool
- Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise
