Overview of the Position:
The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for selling corporate products or services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas, as well as bidding on repair work from various customers in the aerospace field. Market and sell aircraft component repairs. Develop, manage, and grow Inside Sales accounts. Manage inside sales orders, calls, and requests for quotes. (Inside Sales defined as all accounts not currently managed by Outside Sales.) Additional responsibilities include purchasing, exchanging, and selling materials. The Inside Sales Manager has the responsibility and authority to perform assigned tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contacts new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how specific Wencor Group products could meet these needs.
- Identifies and targets opportunities and executing sales actions and ensures customers receive prompt, world-class service.
- Monitors quote activity and progression and provide customer update as needed.
- Provides accurate bidding data on customer RFQs/RFPs with the intention of bringing in more work.
- Manage customer product and services, pricing, and margins according to agreed upon direction and goals from Senior Management.
- Works with corporates sales team to provide potential customers with competitive offerings.
- Assists in achieving and meeting sales goals set jointly with management.
- Answers customers' questions about products, prices and availability and assists with collections as needed.
- Obtains competitive information and intelligence of responsible accounts.
- Responsible for generating inventory sales and replenishing rotable pool as needed.
- Works closely with Customer Service Representatives on obtaining units from the market to support exchanges for customer units in house.
- Seek, purchase, and manage all inventory for future exchange and/or sales opportunities through various surplus brokers, aircraft teardowns, airlines surplus sales, etc.
- Open, review and manage the entire repair order process of all inventory products made available for sale/exchange.
- Assist Outside Sales by seeking inventory purchases for major account program sales opportunities.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to summarize data and trends clearly.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
- Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
- Competency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to occasional travel to attend sales events or exhibitions.
- Knowledge of the aviation industry and airline MRO.
