Role Objectives: Responsible to Chairman for assembling financial data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed
  • Assist in preparing information and research materials; create and maintain PowerPoint presentations
  • Run general industry related errands
  • Manage databases and input information, data, and records
  • Research and gather documentation on company position in the industry
  • Attend company functions and networking events
  • Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks
  • Update and post supervised social media and website content; respond to web correspondence, social media posts, and emails


Knowledge/Skill/Ability Requirements:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas


Education/Experience:

  • High school degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program to receive credit


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach
  • Requires repetitive motion, hearing, talking, grasping, and sitting
  • Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
  • Worker is not subject to adverse environmental conditions as work is performed in an office
