This Lead Product Manager role is responsible for working with the lines of business to ensure their payment experiences are being met, both internally and externally. You’ll work closely with other Product Owners to ensure stakeholders are aware of upcoming changes, help create processes and understand the needs of the Lines of Business to feed back into the roadmap for Claim Payments, Premium Payments, member reimbursements and UHC Store.

Primary Responsibilities
- Work across teams and organizations on payment strategy
- Define and maintain the product roadmap and vision in-line with portfolio strategic objectives
- Build, prioritize and maintain program backlogs
- Evaluate and provide updates on product roadmap delivery progress
- Prepare and deliver strategic recommendations and detailed business cases to senior executive leadership, securing alignment and approvals for major initiatives
- Create engaging and visually compelling storytelling artifacts, such as presentations, roadmaps, and documentation, to effectively convey product values, purposes, and trajectories
- Work with key business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information, and systems to achieve final technology/business solution
- Work with stakeholders to understand the business objectives and translate these into requirements to support the product roadmap
- Support testing, training, and implementation activities, identify and document emerging business requirements to ensure the successful delivery of the overall business and technology solutions
- Analyze data (VOC, NPS) to identify new product opportunities
- Ensure LOB feedback is heard and understood to help build new capabilities as well as own the roll-out including building SOPs for new features
- Create, analyze, and deliver well-designed and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports for stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Experience creating and presenting strategic plans to different levels of leadership
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- eCommerce payment experience
- Demonstrated business focus; must excel at connecting business requirements to analytic objectives and to measurable business benefit
- Proven ability to clearly articulate the story for what problem you are solving for and the vision you are going after, combined with the capacity to dive into minute details when necessary
- Proven ability to thrive on creating efficiency: dealing with fast pace, changing needs, and limited resources
- Proven to be comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy working backwards from highly ambiguous starting points by leveraging data, running experiments, and following a structured approach to build business use cases that influence a diverse team of engineers, data scientists, finance, compliance, legal, and business experts
