This position is full time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.
We offer 1 week of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls from customers regarding enrollment applications, initiating an enrollment, forms, questions regarding the online portal, or their accounts.
- Process applications for enrollment.
- Respond to customer questions via the Live Chat option on the web.
- Respond to all customer inquiries in a manner consistent with department protocols and quality standards.
- General knowledge and ability to troubleshoot customer issues according to established policies, procedures, and practices.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma OR equivalent experience
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 2+ years of call center / customer service experience
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Communication and customer service skills
- Adaptability in a rapidly changing environment

- Understanding of the healthcare industry and the information exchange between providers, clearinghouses, payers, and employers

Telecommuting Requirements:
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

The hourly range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
