Job Summary

  • Support the organization in the development, evaluation and implementation of applications, monitoring and allocating resources and determining timeline, deliverables, documentation and quality assurance of projects. Participates in the evaluation, development and implementation of new applications and upgrading existing applications. Direct and manage complex projects/programs from evaluation to production. Define scope, goals, plans and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with management team and stakeholders. Develop project communications documents. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Track project milestones and deliverables. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Conduct project lessons learned and created a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Defines requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment. Designs and maintains complete and current technical and project documentation. Prepares professional-quality project plans, project charters, proposals, projections, and documentation related to the implementation and development of new applications, the upgrade of existing applications, and application optimization projects. Responsible for setting and meeting deadlines, coordinating go-lives, and facilitating communication between teams. Develop the best practices and tools for project execution and management. Provides analytical support to internal processes

  • Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self-education, attends ongoing educational programs)
  • Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
  • Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age- specific customer service skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • General environment: Works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned area, with moderate noise levels.
  • May be required to change from one task to another of different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.
  • Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.
  • Long-distance or air travel as needed - not to exceed 10% travel.
  • May be scheduled as needed including overtime

Education Requirements

  • 4 year / bachelor’s degree in health science, computer science, information systems technology, or related discipline (Required)
  • Master’s degree in business administration, Information Systems or related discipline (Preferred)

Experience Requirements

  • 4 - 5 years Proficiency in the use and understanding of two or more applications, preferably in a healthcare setting. (Required)
  • 4 - 5 years’ Experience in implementing and/or upgrading an application, preferably in a healthcare setting. (Required)
  • 2 - 3 years Understanding of the processes related to the department/s and application that the analyst manages. (Required)
  • 1 - 2 years Supervision of other analysts in the implementation or upgrade of a minimum of two projects. (Required)
  • 2 - 3 years Project management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. (Required)

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES

  • Preferred Certifications/Licensures: Project Management Professional (PMP), Current GA State Licensure in healthcare related field
