What you will do

In this vital role, the Regional Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for representing Amgen products to top tier physicians, healthcare professionals, and affiliated Institutional systems, establishing product sales, and performing total strategic account management.

  • Consistently achieve quarterly sales objectives through patient-centered disease and product education to HCPs and systems, improving patient care while adhering to compliance guidelines.
  • Implement marketing plan goals through strategic account business plan execution, achieving and exceeding desired brand outcomes.
  • Work in a matrix environment, collaborating with various teams and driving continuous improvement in account performance.
  • Use resources like peer education and cross-functional partners to address knowledge gaps.
  • Navigate and increase opportunities in the healthcare landscape, engaging in strategic conversations and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Establish business relationships with KOLs and promote the company's products within target institutions.
  • Understand market access landscape, including regulations, reimbursement models, and payer trends.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities that positively impact institutions and surrounding geographies.
  • Monitor sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Maintain in-depth disease and therapeutic knowledge, sharing approved messages with healthcare providers.
  • Apply a consultative selling approach to meet the needs of healthcare professionals treating Neuro-Immunologic patients.
  • Complete all tasks adhering to compliance and corporate policies.

What we expect of you

The sales professional we seek is a motivated employee with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree AND 2 years of collective account management experience, sales, & commercial experience
  • Master’s degree AND 6 years of collective experience
  • Bachelor’s degree AND 8 years of collective experience
  • Associate degree AND 10 years of collective experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of in-office injection/infusion sales experience.
  • Experience in a matrix selling environment with a focus on patient centricity.
  • Market development experience in rare, unmet spaces.
  • Success educating HCPs about complex diseases.
  • Documented track record of exceptional performance.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • 20-30% travel required.
