Volunteer Coordinator for Fargo 5K

CCRI (Creative Care for Reaching Independence)

Date: 1 day ago
City: Moorhead, Minnesota
Contract type: Full time
CCRI is a Moorhead-based nonprofit organization that began in 1977 when a group of parents wanted more for their children than institutionalized care. What started as one home serving eight people with disabilities in a community-based setting has grown into an agency serving more than 400 people through a variety of person-centered programs. CCRI empowers those with disabilities to

  • Live more independently.
  • Build life skills.
  • Participate more in the community.
  • Have new experiences.
  • Reach their full potential.

From 24-hour in-home support to rehabilitative mental health care, our services are as unique as each of the people we serve.

,

We are looking for a few people who can provide pre-race encouragement for CCRI clients and staff getting ready to go to the Fargo 5K. Clients can stop at the

CCRI office to get pizza, their race bib and race t-shirts, so volunteers are needed to help pass out pizza and drinks, assist everyone getting around the room and gathering their supplies, and a little bit of clean up the room when everyone leaves for the 5k. The total time for volunteers would be approximately 3 30-6p.

Please use our Volunteer Application on our website ( Volunteer | CCRI) and note that you'd like to help with the 5k event.
